A limited customer pilot
Eligible customers can use secure intake, private document exchange, case messages and final-copy delivery. Live payments remain disabled.
Private customer accounts
Accounts use authenticated sessions. Documents remain in private storage, with access checked for the current person and case. Selected files pass validation and isolated malware scanning before access; rejected or unverified files remain unavailable.
Careful access and communication
Internal access requires multifactor authentication and the appropriate role. Preparers see assigned work; Managers have limited operational access. The Owner controls tax judgments and final-copy publication. Security records omit message and document contents. These controls reduce risk; they do not guarantee absolute security.
